Mala Earth
Fuelled by a passion for fairly traded, ethically sourced and sustainable products, Rebecca created Mala Earth. Cutting her teeth at taking an idea to market, Rebecca added extra pressure by donating a percentage of profits to charity. The concept was formed after she became a qualified yoga teacher and saw a gap in the market for Mala Beads (ancient prayer and meditation beads).
Within the first year, Rebecca created a successful e-commerce business and implemented a sustainable business structure, and handed over daily processes to an Operations Manager. All accomplished with a ton of hustle and heart, an MBA and practical business skills! The business was successfully sold in 2018 and continues to thrive today under new owership.
