Qualmark / Tourism NZ
Qualmark, owned by Tourism New Zealand is the tourism industry’s official quality assurance organisation. The organisation delivers on three key areas: 1). rating for accommodation providers, 2). endorsement for attractions and leisure activities, and 3). environmental (enviro) awards, a programme for businesses that go beyond the benchmark for environmental, economic and social performance, within the tourism industry.
Rebecca delivered a robust Business Case, identifying a new strategic direction, and financially sustainable future for Qualmark. The project, the ’Sustainable Tourism Programme’ provided a roadmap to develop a new globally recognised environmental standard, replacing an existing award programme.
